Strictly Come Dancing: Songs And Dances Revealed Ahead Of First Elimination

With the first elimination of the series looming, Strictly Come Dancing bosses have announced the songs and dances that each of the 12 couples will be performing in this week’s live show.

Fresh from topping the leaderboard last week, pop singer HRVY will be dancing a Viennese Waltz to Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s lockdown anthem Stuck With U, while Maisie Smith will tackle a Tango to Miley Cyrus’ recent hit Midnight Sky.

This week will see the first Couples’ Choice routine of the series, with Nicola Adams and Katya Jones performing a unique dance to Years & Years’ Shine, while scene-stealer Bill Bailey will deliver a Quickstep to Talk To The Animals from the musical Doctor Doolittle.

And if all of that wasn’t exciting enough, former MP Jacqui Smith and Anton DuBeke will be hoping they can recover from last week’s performance with a Samba to Tom Jones’ Help Yourself.

Despite this Saturday’s live show falling on Halloween, Strictly bosses have made the decision to axe this year’s annual spook-tacular, due to the fact that the series has already been cut short as a result of the pandemic.

Find out how the stars and their partners get on in this week’s Strictly live show, airing at 7.15pm on Saturday 31 October.
