1. Climate change is ninety per cent man-made, according to a US federal report.

A report by thirteen US federal agencies has found that at least ninety per cent of global warming has been caused by humans, mostly from the burning of fossil fuels.

These findings directly contradict the Trump administration’s stance on the subject.

2. Sir Paul McCartney has called Trump out on his attitude towards climate change.

The long-time vegetarian and former Beatle has spoken out against Donald Trump’s outlook on the environment. He stated that some of his actions are “madness” in an exclusive interview with Radio 1.

3. Renewable energy has hit record popularity in the UK.

While support for fracking has hit a record low, the latest polls by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy have found the most positive recorded public attitudes towards renewable energy.

Eighty two per cent expressed support, an increase of 5 per cent since the last survey.

4. The Trump administration are due to promote fossil fuels at Bonn climate talks this week.

The White House have confirmed that the Trump administration’s presentation at the UN climate conference in Bonn, Germany will be in support of fossil fuels.

5. London has the most food waste offenders in the UK, according to new research.

A new report by It’s Fresh! has found that London produces the most food waste in the country, with seventy five per cent of people in the capital throwing away fresh produce every week.
